What a kick- weekend in AC. We stayed at the greatest motel EVER!! We even made a new friend, "Earl." Had a great time.

Ha, an absolutely awesome time, even if my worst trip financially to date (mutter stupid KQ, stupid pJ's). Earl (RIP?) and the Taffy were both great. Next time we stay at the $14-a-night place.

I don't want to state the obvious here, but Frank, did you not notice that Earl was in the exact same spot for the entire time we were there? We didn't exactly prop him up and move him around like "Weekend at Burnie's."

Does anyone know if dust can kill you? Im in the process of cleaning my room and there are huge quantities of dust all over the that has been buried for ages. When I started working last night I felt fine, but I now feel like my head is going to explode and im pretty sure its due to dust inhalation. ANyone got any tips on how to get rid of this stuff? A vacuum only goes so far.

A leaf-blower and a hose?
On a less "Silly, but I'd still like to see it" note... if it's actually building up in the air of the room, run the air conditioner and let it filter it. Just be ready to clean out a bunch. Oh and you're welcome to borrow the Dyson. I think dust actually flees when that thing shows up.

There isnt like a visible cloud of dust no. All the really heavy falls to the ground, but Ive read that the dust that fucks you up is the micro sized motes that basically float int he air unseen and can get passed the various filtration systems of ones face. All I know is I need to figure something out cause Im now afraid to sleep in y own bed for fear of damaging myself. Is the Dyson a Hepa vac?

anyone been watching The Clone Wars on Cartoon Network?
I didn't see the movie in the summer (heard nothing but bad things), but I'm enjoying the series so far. I especially like the involvement of the Clones (Rex, Cody, etc)
It's a little cheesy how a lot of the episodes end with General Grievous escaping and pretty much saying "NEXT TIME, GADGET! NEXT TIIIIME!!!", but I'm enjoying it so far.

I not normally known for too much sentiment, but something really stuck me today as I read this article. news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081128/ap_on_re_us/wal_mart_deathThe article in a nutshell tells how a man was trampled and killed today by people rushing into WalMart to get their Black Friday deals. Just served as a little reminder about keeping the holiday season in perspective. The guy killed was in his late 30's, prolly had a family and he's gone due to people not thinking, driven by commercialism. It's really sad.
