So I want to know what cool people have discovered for me to do while I'm waiting for douchebags to interview. I'll open with: Flycast - iPhone application that allows you to listen to radio stations from around the country as well as net-radio stations; since i've been in NY, I've been withdrawing from LA's KCRW radio station, this application allows me to be a pretentious Angelino anywhere.

For the iPhone... if you like puzzle games, get Hanoi (free app). Warning, once you start, you will get hooked. It took me just under 3 hours to beat the game.

Not sure if you guys would need this, but I found a free app that came in handy for me. It's called "Air Sharing" which allows you to move files from your computer to your iPhone. Pretty cool.

I haven't configured air sharing yet;

Really? Photoswap? Alright.
Pete/Jim tribalwars question?
What kind of defensive force should I have in my city? Is 90 spearman a lot, or do I need 900 spearmen? Or 9000 spearmen? I have no concept of the scope of battles in this game.

Completely depends on your size and the size of your neighbors. The easiest way is to think of what you would attack with if you were a neighbor and attacking yourself... then drop that into the rally point simulator and figure out what defense you'd need to defeat that.

Alright, I've scouted my closest neighbors and they're definitely soft targets. I'm avoiding the ones that are in tribes, and just focusing on the little ones, they're both flush with resources and poorly defended. But lets say in response to my attack they decide to tribe up, Is it unreasonable to expect to defend my village with 100 units, 1000 units, or 10,000 units... I mean, what is the scope? I've been rolling pretty strong by raping the bonus villages and barbarian village in >1hr distance from my city; and I think I'm growing pretty quickly, but I don't want to up because I don't really know what to expect from potential enemies.

Oh, iPhone app: Reign of Swords - Tactical strategy RPG that features upgradable units, customizable armies, and online warfare. $7, very well made.
