People will be getting there anytime between 7pm and 8:30pm. The wing eating contest is at 9pm.

Very sorry I can't make it. You know I do anything for wings. But since I started the new job in a subject area I know barely nothing about, I have been kinda working overtime. I am home planning my off. I hope it goes really really well. G'luck!

Why cant the reason you go out for wings be because you want to eat wings?

Pfft, I'm up for wings for no reason or a Trongs event, but preferably the latter. Dan the waitresses at Croxleys RVC were asking about them the other day. We might have an in. I also ran into one of Bone's friends there who before I recognized her said "Are you using Trongs?" and kind of stunned me. You're getting around!

Jim, it's called an excuse and reason to leave the house. I can't expect most to completely understand. And I in no way shape or form mean this sarcastic or nasty. Examine the two outcomes of the situation: Married at home with a baby that requires constant attention a)"Hey hon, Danny said there is a trongs event this week. I missed the last one with everything going on. We're on break, and I don't want to disappoint again. Mind watching the baby all day and night so I could make this one?" b) "Hey hon. Stay with the kid. Do all the feeding and changing. Give him a bath while your at it. Maybe some laundry. I'm going for wings." One will get me belted in the face, and a night on the couch. One won't......oh wait...Jill reads nethyr!!!!!!!!!!

Bottom line, I figured if it was an "event" it might get more people, thus I might get to see more people. But it doesn't have to be. I am going for wings Monday night. Croxleys in Franklin Square. I plan on eating my weight (which is getting bigger and bigger) in wings. ANd I would like you all to come. No, the world doesn't revolve around me (does it?) but if people have a freer evening for wings, it'd be glorious.
Damn, I want wings right now.

Tommy is right. Events grease the skids for going out. going out boozing is OK if it's prefaced with a game or a rock and/or roll show. example: Mike: Helen, I'm going to New Orleans. Helen: my , you are. -- Mike: Helen, I'm going to New Orleans for Fitzy's bachelor party. Matty, Sully, Sully, Pat, and Sully are going. Helen: Have fun.

Cool... I'm up for wings on Monday. BTW, any time you go to Croxley's (Franklin Square), ask for Trongs. They took a case to give out with Super Bowl orders and I'm sure they have some left over. Thanks for the support everyone.

Are we sure Croxley's has the Trongs there, or should I bring my own?

It's always a safe bet to bring your own. I never leave home without 50-60 pairs, so anytime you are eating wings with me... your good.
