Hi everyone,
Just got word from deep within the trenches of St. Mary's that the Bridie run will be on 11/25 (again in Syosset).
Paulie, the following items have been banned for the race this year: cigars, cigarettes, rollerblades, brothers picking you up in cars, crossing the finish line with food in your mouth, and steroids.

Lets be honest now bob... everyone gets a shirt regardless of when they register. Its like those infomercials trying to con people into thinking that those 37 free steak knives are only available within 30 minutes of the airing of the commercial. EVERYONE GETS THE KNIVES!!!

I dont like the way I was singled out in this whole thing!! There were plenty of cheaters there... I just got caught!! You thought that lady was pushing a stroller but it was really like a well crafted Moped that pulled her along when nobody was looking!
so lay off the fat kid!

i have officially joined a gym and am working out on a regular basis. While i cannot disclose the specifics of my workout plan...i can say that it is closely fashioned after the Full House episode where DJ starves herself and eventually passes out while on the treadmill (oh Uncle Jesse...didn't you see the signs). This year, no cocky 75 year old man is beating me by 4 minutes!!! And don't kid yourself, you remember that full house episode!

That is one route to go down... I am just going to switch my magnetic bracellit with Pete's right before we start. than I just play the waiting game! Although my plan might be spoiled now.

I'm surprised that no one (that I know of) has ever just taken the shortcut... when we all make our first left turn, you turn right! You could be the first ever finisher of the Bridie Goldstein Almost 3k Run for Children!

sadly, and in total seriousness, some of my residents love participating in this race because they like pretending that they are either AWOLing or running from the po-po.
