Anthony has a program called DVD X Copy Platinum that came out about 2-3 years ago. This was the program that started all the trouble about copying DVDs. Since then, it's company, 321studios, has been closed down, and because the software needed to be registered online, you can install it, but you cannot use it.
They had an option for registering the program call "register from another computer" where you were to go to a computer on the internet, bring up a website (which also doesn't work anymore) and a *.reg file would be downloaded to your computer, put it on a disc, bring it to the other computer, and you were to double click on it and it would be registered.
Now here is the question: Anthony still has this program on his computer. Is there a way to find the *.reg file for this program, copy it from his computer, and add it to my computer?
Your help would be most appriciated!!!

no, seriously, i'm not dumb, i did that before i posted. I was wondering because when you click on the .reg file, it adds it, but is there a way to find the "thing" it registers and copy that ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Sick!
For those of you who are of the DVD copying persuasion, I just got a copy of a program called DVD Shrink (which must be used in conjunction with other software, like Nero, which I also got...Thanks Kazaa) for copying DVDs. Even large movie compressed to 65% are still gorgeous. Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is gargantuan (You know, I've always liked that word..."gargantuan"... so rarely have an opportunity to use it in a sentence) 7.65GB and it still looks really good. Both programs get my high rating for the day!
