The week from hell

Okay guys I need to vent so here we go again. So last wednesday I get a phone call from my uncle that my aunt, whom I was very close with had passed away from a sudden heart attack (She was 51). To make this god awful news worse, my aunt lived in seattle and it was easter weekend. So it took three days for an autopsy and for them to fly her body out to NY to be buried with my father and grandfather. So after six of the longest days of my life we have the wake, that was god awful. 1.It didn't look like my aunt. 2. the funeral home in seattle where she was embalmed did a mediocre job at best (you could see the autopsy stitches.) 3. It breaks my heart to know my grandmother who is still with us, has lost two of her five children and her husband...and to see grandma loose it made the whole damn family loose it.
So yesterday day was the funeral, unknown to me, my uncles had volunteered my oldest cousin and I to be two of the Pall Bearers (I don't know if anyone's ever done it but there is something surreal about crying your damn eyes out and carrying a casket, containing on of your relatives)....moving right along...the day was lovely (which my aunt would have loved) the service was beautiful and we all had lunch and went to my uncles for dinner...(BTW I stayed sober and am still sober)
So I am exhausted an I come home from carting around relatives and all this other junk and I wanna check my email (wait for it, wait for it...) BLUE SCREEN OF DOOM!!!! anyway I call tech support and after an hour and a half of trying to understand a guy who was clearly outsourced to INDIA, (wait for it again.....)
FORMAT HARDDRIVE!!!...so I get my computer back..minus all the crap I used to have on it...and now I have to go to work...Yay, Thankfully I am off this weekend and my mom will be on a cruise in the caribbean for ten day...ahhh peace and quiet at last.
Not to end on a morbid note, If I suddenly pass away two things 1. ON DAY WAKE...please don't let people drag that out. 2. Cremate my !!!!

On a spiritual note I guess (yes this is really James) Please make sure you tell all your friends and your family you love them or let them know in some way..cause you never know what the good lord has planned for us. And have fun in life..yeah have fun

Sorry to hear about things. Believe me I've felt your pain in a number of ways. Stay tough man.

James, I pretty much suck at the sharing my feelings thing... so I'm not even going to attempt it here.

I just want to say sorry for your loss and the you're dealing with and hang in there... everything get's better with time.

James, my thoughts go out to you and your family. I've done the pall bearer thing for my grandmother recently...it's surreal. The only difference in our stories is that your tech support guy was the one doing the mass for my grandmother's funeral.
