Bear in mind this is a Tuesday, but it's at 6:30 on a Tuesday that I'm taking off anyway.

Pete, I think you said yes to going in to the Radio City show with Jeff & Pat & folks then... and Jeff seemed really happy that you were joining a family event! Is the Radio City show earlier in the day?

Yep, that show is at 11am, then I'm hopping on whatever transportation method back to Jeff's, and then to Farmingdale. This is the first major ska circuit tour (that I know of) in the Long Island area since The Downtown closed. I'll make em both fit if it's possible.

You should get Kevin to take you directly to Farmingdale. You'd be TOTALLY stylin.

I remember once upon a time when people got together and did stuff just to do stuff together. I remember Scofflaws concerts that we descended upon with what, 20 or so people at once? And let's not pretend we were there to see the Scofflaws. They were never that good. We just wanted to get together to do anything.
It seems sad that the best we can do lately is the occasional card game which I leap at the chance to do. And it's not because I love cards that much. We all know I barely remember half the games we play, and I was the last person to start playing. I rarely leave with more than a few bucks more than I came there with. I just jump at the chance just to hang out with people and do stuff with them. Hell I spent half of the last card game on the couch with Kate playing IDon'tEvenKnow 2.
Yes we all work and yes lots of people are married, but I refuse to believe that we're that old or something that we can't get together to do something once in a while. If we're all that strapped for cash I'll pay. I don't have tons of spare cash either but if it's the difference between hanging out with people or not, I'll turn off my heat or downgrade my cable for a week or something.
F the concert. I don't care about the concert. Am I still going? Maybe. Don't go there without talking to me thinking you'll be guaranteed to see me. I just want any damn excuse to see people and do something.
I hereby submit my official idea for what I like to call "Project: Sunday dinner". I would say that we could cook and have it at someone's house to avoid the cash issue, but I suspect that the "Not at my house / not at his house", "I won't eat that" etc issues would be even worse. Accordingly I suggest that we do it at the Tin Alley. It's nowhere close to me but I don't care. If cash is that much of an issue let me know and we'll move it to the McDonalds across the street. So there it is. Tin Alley. Sundays. 7pm. Anyone?
