CNN.com appears to be aware that they have ridiculous headlines... to the right of some of the headlines on their main page, there are t-shirt icons... click, and you'll be offered a t-shirt bearing the headline for $15. Remember the days when news organizations focused on uncovering and reporting news?! So today I introduce a thread for headlines from elsewhere. Here's the first. Great tits cope well with warmingnews.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/7390109.stm

The Bible "is not a science book," Funes said, adding that he believes the Big Bang theory is the most "reasonable" explanation for the creation of the universe. The theory says the universe began billions of years ago in the explosion of a single, super-dense point that contained all matter. Seeing a head vatican official say this makes me happy. Sometimes its nice to see that Im not the only rational minded believer in God existing in the world. Science and religion can co-exist, and not everyone takes the stories in the Bible to be a literal account of events as they actually occured.

Why did you remove your yahoo name from that screenshot? Are you afraid were going to sell your yahoo account to spammers?

Everytime I read a post like that, I want to build a gigantic rocket booster and drive the earth into the fucking sun.
