So it looks like it's no longer just FF vs IE (vs other lessers). nethyr.proboards44.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=179Google has thrown their hat into the ring with an interesting curveball which they call "Chrome". They seem to have rethought the browser from the ground up, especially on the back end. The average user will first notice that it seems to be a very stripped down basic version of a web browser. Over time however it seems that since they redesigned the architecture, you'll end up with a much more stable browser which loads faster, loads pages faster, and is very very difficult to crash entirely. I'm still giving this a test run myself so despite how much I generally love Google and their philosophy, I'm not placing my chips anywhere just yet. It's a very big arena that they've thrown their hat in to and it'll be interesting to see where it goes. For those interested in information, Google released a web-comic to explain some of it's features which is worth a peek: www.google.com/googlebooks/chrome/#For those a little more adventurous, feel free to give it a shot yourself: www.google.com/chrome/Be sure to post your experiences / opinions!
