That story makes me want to eat that child's brain and heart to gain his power.

We'll see who's laughing next year when CC Sabathia is throwing 98 mph fastballs up the collective sphincter of red sox nation while wearing pinstripes. What we actually need is a new cleanup hitter. The one we got now is an overpriced pile of walking that couldnt hit himself out of a wet paper bag.

*YAWN*
man, all of these late night Red Sox PLAYOFF games can make a man lose some sleep!
Dunkin' Donuts stock is through the roof from all of the coffee we're drinking to stay awake after some much PLAYOFF baseball.
Gonna be much more PLAYOFF baseball as well.
what a d!ck I am.

Its fine. Posts like this just prove my point that Boston fans are by FAR the worst winners in professional sports. Sure everyone talks about how much they hate Yankees fans, but you people in Boston are far and away the absolute worst. Sure everyone thought you were lovable losers when you couldn't win for , but in the span of 4 short years you've all become completely unbearable. Enjoy the wave buddy, but remember that they always break sooner or later, and there ain't gonna be anyone shedding a tear for you when it does. LETS GO RAYS!

Yeah, I was all excited for Boston at first. Congrats Fuller, your team is now the new Evil Empire.
Personally, I am conflicted. I want the Rays to win the Series (I admire small market, small payroll teams). But I would love to see the Dodgers play the Sox, and have Manny hit the walk off winner to end the Sox reign.
Basically, the Mets suck, and I am wishing evil on those more successful teams.

we're not evil! We're scrappy dirt dogs! we don't even make the top 3 payrolls (NYY, DET, NYM)
also, no way LA beats the Phillies. if they have a brain in their head, Manny won't get anything to hit. The rest of the lineup is poopy.
I thought the Mets would be OK with Carlon Voltron.

Dude, the effin Cubs had the best record in baseball and the Dodgers just blew them away. To underestimate them after that is nuts. Also, you bastards haven't been scrappy dirt dogs for years. The only player that I qualify as legitimately scrappy is Dustin Pedroia, and hes only a second year rookie. Didn't make the top 3 in payroll... you are number 4, and the difference between you and the Mets is only 5 million dollars!

LA is shitty (on paper) That's right they beat the Cubs best record and choke artists in the playoffs which is a step above the Mets.
Huge props to the Marlins for again ruining the Mets season two years in a row... hopefully the schedule makers will be kind enough to help the Mets out next season.

I agree much of the dirty dog feeling is out of the Red Sox ,however, I would consider Kevin Youkilis a scrappy dirty dog and to a lesser extend Paul Byrd being as he just got there
